Manufacturing

We have heavily invested in advanced manufacturing technology including a computer-controlled automatic cutting machine to ensure every one of the cables is precisely cut to length. Right after cutting is completed, our cables are subjected to stripping and crimping procedures.

Our cable crimping process is conducted in full compliance with standard operating procedure guidelines. Each month we are capable of crimping over 2.5 million connectors to diversified automotive cables and data cables.
The product assembly process can be divided into two main types: semi-finished product assembly and hand-operated finished product assembly. Those assembled products are featured by robust structures and exceptionally precise dimensions.

We have currently employed 20 technicians to complete the soldering process. They are trained and highly skilled, thus ensuring a nice smooth fillet of solder between the cable and the metal part.
In addition, we have 22 injection molding machines available for both interior and exterior molding of the plug cables. The interior mold is made from environmentally-friendly quality polyethylene to protect wires and cables, while the exterior mold is constructed using top-grade, eco-friendly polyvinyl chloride. Each month we can complete more than 800,000 injection-molded connectors of all kinds.

All our products are required to undergo ground continuity testing and high-voltage cable testing for the purpose of quality control.
In the next step of the process, we perform a strict visual inspection on our products before they are labeled and packed into boxes. Finally, our QA inspectors will carry out pre-shipment inspection of goods to ensure our customers will receive the finest possible products.

Wire cutting

This line incorporates electric cable cutting and multi-core cable cutting, both of which are performed automatically by computer for precise cutting length.

Cable jacket removing

Cable jacket removing operation is conducted according to the dimension requirements of drawings.

Cable crimping

The cable crimping line is well equipped with 2 crimping machines, 4 ultra-quiet terminal machines, and 2 heavy duty crimping machines. Crimping operations for all kinds of automobile connectors and data terminals are mainly done here. After crimping, we will give a tensile test for each of the terminals. The line is able to process 2.5 million terminals each month.

Cable product assembly

Assembly operations are given both for semi-finished cables and hand-operated finished cables. The assembled products must undergo tensile test to ensure their strength.

Soldering for cable products

Soldering process is aimed at connecting the cables with the metal hardware. Special tools for detecting the temperature of soldering points are utilized to prevent desoldering or false soldering. Supported by 20 experienced technicians, our monthly production volume reaches 4 million.

Cable conductivity test & dielectric withstand test

Bennzs has introduced 13 high-precision cable testing machines, 2 conductivity testing machines, and 4 dielectric withstand testers to perform conductivity test and dielectric withstand test both for automotive diagnostic adapters and medical cables.

Plastic particle dehydration

We heat the PVC and other plastic particles to make them drying, thus enabling an aesthetic product appearance. All of the material dryers are controlled by computer.

Cable injection molding

Cable injection molding involves both interior molding and exterior molding, generally PE material for the former and PVC for the latter. Alternative materials as PU or TPE are available for exterior molding. All of the molds are designed with PROE to ensure precision. With 22 injection molding machines, JSTAR now holds a monthly production volume of 300 thousand for auto diagnostic adapters, 100 thousand for medical cables, and 300 thousand for data cables.

Cable appearance inspection

Dirt or burrs adhered on cables will be removed.

Cable labelling

JSTAR makes labels using water-resistant high-viscosity synthetic paper and high-precision printers. Barcodes are alternative on the labels.

Cable packaging

JSTAR cable ties are specially designed to be compatible with the cables. PE zip lock bags with thickness of 0.5mm-0.2mm are prepared for selection. In the carton bags, we set PVC waterproof plastic bags to protect the cables as much as we can.
